I really can't stand

when people put things like “I’ve been through a lot and I’m stronger than I seem. I’m wise beyond my years” in descriptions of themselves.

But if we are talking about someone who made a piano in their backyard and I ask “how do you even build a piano from scratch,” it’s a rhetorical question. And if it wasn’t a rhetorical question, the proper response would not be “creativity.”
