I really can't stand
spinningininfinity: when people put things like “I’ve been through a lot and I’m stronger than I seem. I’m wise beyond my years” in descriptions of themselves. A Baptist church in North Carolina has voted to... →
valjeans: “As people of faith, affirming the Christian teaching that before God all people are equal, we will no longer participate in this discrimination,” the church’s statement says. The vote was unanimous and brought tears to the eyes of some of the 100 or so members who stood to vote in favor of the “statement on marriage ceremonies.”

Maybe it's just me
But if we are talking about someone who made a piano in their backyard and I ask “how do you even build a piano from scratch,” it’s a rhetorical question. And if it wasn’t a rhetorical question, the proper response would not be “creativity.”

a-stick-a-carrot-and-string: I don’t want to offend anyone, but I can’t take people seriously when they have a fear of Ouija boards. I don’t want to offend anyone (except the people who get offended because you should know, I’m laughing), but I can’t take people seriously when they have a fear of escalators.
